1979

History

Pete was discovered in 1979 in a science lab's trash can. Given a hose down by some friendly refuge men, he was then donated to the MOD, in order that they may conduct experiments. 17 years later he escaped, many say, with super powers that could destroy the Universe. After 4 pints, a whiff of whisky and a sing-song at the old folks home though, these powers where taken from him, from what he calls, the men in yellow.

Now

Pete has been spotted in South Cheshire, trying to hack away at some Perl scripts, and SQL. He is rumoured to have a job as a Web site administrator, but this is yet to be confirmed, least of all from him. The following text is taken from a recording of him:

"I've been into computing now for, emm, oooh, about 12, maybe 13 years. First computer was a Commodore +4. Well cool. I just sort of muck about with computers now really. A little bit of anything that takes my fancy. Got a small network in the house now..." "...yeah it's sore, but the cream can really help..." "...like to pretend I know a bit about encryption, eventually we'll all be issued with a public/private key at birth..." "...did you ever see that Enemy Of The State? ... true story that you know, only they'll never admit it..."
